MY THOUGHTS:
Sarah Kuhns is a nanny of four children in the Amish community of Harmony Creek. If the children aren't keeping Sarah immensely busy, she has her two pushy brothers to deal with. What Sarah actually wants to do is to become and EMT. When she meets Toby Christner, who was injured, her attention is definitely diverted. Toby is staying at the home where Sarah works while he is healing. They develop a liking for one another, and it was a delight to see their relationship form.
This very sweet story is the second in this wonderful series by Jo Ann Brown. I enjoyed the strong sense of both faith and family in this read. Quite naturally, the children were a delight. As this story was set during the holidays, it was all the more sweeter.
The other books in the series are The Amish Suitor, The Amish Bachelor's Baby and the upcoming The Amish Widower's Twins.
