August Wrap Up
In August, I was able to read 60 books. I was sure I would read less this month than last month because I went away to the White Mountains in New Hampshire for four days with my family. So, here are my stats:

My favorite reads for this month are so hard to choose! The books that impressed me the most were the three books in the Night trilogy by Elie Wiesel. These three books, as well as 8 historical fiction were books that I read this month, which were all five star books for me.
I got a print ARC of Enola Holmes and the Black Barouche. I hadn’t heard of this character until I received the book and then found out that it is also a Netflix movie. I loved this book so much that I binge read the first six books in the series in a 24 hour period.
I received an ARC of Last Seen Alive by Joanna Schaffhausen. After reading the description I realized that it is part of a five book series so I acquired the first four books and started the series by reading The Vanishing Season, which I thoroughly enjoyed.
Never Saw Me Coming by Vera Kurian was a thrilling book about obsession. There were four more excellent books that I just have to mention: Hairpin Bridge by Taylor Adams, The Guilt Trip by Sandie Jones, The Sister-in-Law by Pamela Crane and the STAND OUT book for the month, I Let Him In by Jill Childs.
For a fun book, the Russian finally got his story told in Isn’t It Bromantic by Lyssa Kay Adams. Two other lighthearted RomCons I enjoyed were Husband Auditions by Angela Ruth Strong and The Dating Playbook by Farrah Rochon. Lastly, I thought Big Summer by Jennifer Weiner was going to be a light read but it touched on some serious subjects.
