DESCRIPTION:

Always the caretaker, former Marine Reid Griffith wants to help his brother adjust to civilian life...and help other former servicemen. What better way to utilize their brawn, discipline, and charm than a moving company that hires veterans? But although Reid prides himself on being strategic, he certainly doesn't plan to fall in the spotlight of one brilliant―and beautiful―PR whiz...

PR expert Naomi Starr is determined to bring Vets on the Go! into the spotlight. But when she meets Reid, it might mean breaking her rule to never mix business with pleasure. Especially once she discovers that underneath Reid's sexy rough-and-tumble exterior is a vulnerable man who just might need what she's got to give.

MY THOUGHTS:

Reid Griffith is a former marine and he sets up a moving business in order to help his brother Cash. He creates Vets on the Go! and makes his brother partner. In so doing, Reid is able to help other former servicemen. He hires a PR rep, Naomi Starr to help the company's image reach the community.

Naomi certainly needs the business. Having lost her previous job - and her lover - she knows that if she does a good job with this company that her business just might thrive. Although she and Reid share an instant attraction from the very first glance, Naomi is determined to never again mix business with pleasure.

Reid is great, through-and-through. He has a business acumen all on his own, but his desire to help Cash and others show his selfless nature. I really got Naomi. Her ex, in work and in life, did her wrong, and guarding her heart when it came to Reid made perfect sense. However, they can only fight so long before they realize that they are perfect for one another.

What a great start to a new series. Not only is the romance intense, but the family ties are so impressive. Brotherly love is clear throughout. There is also the delicate relationship that Reid and Cash have with their mother that took this book to another level.

I have already read the next two books in the series, Smooth Moves and Handle with Care. They are all very well done, and could do okay as standalones. But the family connection is very powerful and I think readers will enjoy reading all three.
