My Classics Challenge for The Classics Club

Hi. I am making a brief blog post today to indicate my desire to read some of the wonderful classics we have out there. I am ecstatic to have found groups on Goodreads, Wordpress and Twitter. My Goodreads post is as follows, which has a cumulative list of over 50 print and ebook classics. This number is poorly represented, however, because more than quite a few of these titles are complete works, or collections. So the number is at least quadrupled! A few years of happy reading in a different direction for me! :)

Here is the Goodreads link: Robin Loves Reading Classics Challenge

On the left column of this blog, there is a Widget for the Classics Club on Wordpress. I hope to make a long-range goal of five years for the books listed in the links, as well as adding others to this delightful stack.

My first read is Rebecca by Daphne Du Maurier:

  1. I remember reading Rebecca as a teenager, I was so naive and remember it leaving a mark as I had never had a book keep me so on edge

    1. I have put it on hold as group read doesn’t begin until March. But Amazon has a two-part series I can’t wait to see after I finish it.
