DESCRIPTION:

At twenty-seven, Shannon Murphy has just discovered that she has two sisters she never knew. Now, through Shannon's loving persistence, the three of them are moving in together above her dance studio in Bridgeport. Shannon is excited to make a home with her sisters and to grow her budding business. Then she meets her newest client--he has all the right muscles, a perfect smile, and a lot of attitude. Will Shannon be able to keep things professional with this charming stranger?

Dylan Lange has a lot on his mind. He's just been assigned a new partner at his job with the Bridgeport Police, and while he's busy striving to protect and serve his town, he's also trying to keep his baby sister out of harm's way while she heals from her own trauma. And on top of everything else, he's gone and lost a bet with his buddies, forcing him to take dance lessons. But when he walks into the dance studio to meet his instructor, a young and beautiful brunette with a sweet southern drawl is the last person he expected to find.

Get ready to fall in love again as Shelley Shepard Gray takes us back to Bridgeport, Ohio, where nobody gets left behind and a powerful community helps ordinary men and women to find extraordinary strength inside themselves.

MY THOUGHTS:

Shannon Murphy and her sisters did not grow up together. They were all adopted by separate families. They connected as adults and have come up with a plan to live together for a year. Sisters Traci and Kimber are moving in with her above her dance studio in Bridgeport. Shannon's business is growing and now that she will be together with her sisters, the missing pieces of her life are falling into place.

There is nothing unusual about new clients when it comes to Shannon teaching at her studio. However, her most recent client makes her a bit uncomfortable. He is all too charming and for the first time Shannon must wonder if she wants to cross the line of professionalism to act on the quickly growing attraction.

Dylan Lange has lost a bet among his buddies. His consequences? He had to agree to several weeks of dance lessons. He is a burly guy, a man's man. What in the world will he do on a dance floor? And what is he going to do when his dance instructor looks nothing like he imagined she would? Taking lessons from an older, white-haired woman would have been far better than a gorgeous twenty-ish woman who increases his pulse.

Shannon is struggling financially, and with her sisters paying towards living expenses, her dance studio just might succeed. She loves what she does as dance is part of the fiber of her being, but working with Dylan just doesn't seem like it would work. Will he take things seriously, or will he just end up wasting her precious time? And what in the world is she going to do about her attraction to him?

Shall We Dance is a lovely and sweet romance that I truly enjoyed. As it is part of the Dance With Me trilogy readers got to meet Traci and Kimber. I definitely look forward to their stories and hope to see that all three sisters continue to grow closer while also finding the love of their lives. The second book in the series is Take the Lead and is Traci's story, set for release in September.

Many thanks to Blackstone Publishing and to Edelweiss for this ARC for review. This is my honest opinion.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR:

I grew up in Houston, Texas, went to Colorado for college, and after living in Arizona, Dallas, and Denver, we moved to southern Ohio about ten years ago.

I’ve always thought of myself as a very hard worker, but not ‘great’ at anything. I’ve obtained a bachelor’s and master’s degree…but I never was a gifted student. I took years of ballet and dance, but I never was anywhere near the star of any recital. I love to cook, but I’m certainly not close to being gourmet…and finally I love to write books, but I’ve certainly read far better authors.

Maybe you are a little bit like me. I’ve been married for almost twenty years and have raised two kids. I try to exercise but really should put on my tennis shoes a whole lot more. I’m not a great housekeeper, I hate to drive in the snow, and I don’t think I’ve ever won a Monopoly game. However, I am the best wife and mother I know how to be.

Isn’t it wonderful to know that in God’s eyes that is okay? That from His point of view, we are all exceptional? I treasure that knowledge and am always so thankful for my faith. His faith in me makes me stand a little straighter, smile a little bit more, and be so very grateful for every gift He’s given me.

I started writing about the Amish because their way of life appealed to me. I wanted to write stories about regular. likeable people in extraordinary situations-and who just happened to be Amish.

Getting the opportunity to write Inspirational novels is truly gratifying. With every book, I feel my faith grows stronger. And that makes me feel very special indeed.
