MY THOUGHTS:
Zeke Daniels is a rancher. A rancher with a past of being a secret agent. That is a life that Zeke is glad he left behind. There is something - or someone - that Zeke wasn’t too happy about leaving behind, and that is forensic anthropologist Brooke Campbell. They once had a thing. Now they don’t.
With Morgan having a stalker which it is connected to a deeply buried case gets in the way of unresolved feelings between both her and Zeke. Even if the pair won’t ever work as a couple, Zeke is determined to protect her and also stop a serial killer.
This book brings an intriguing series to a close, with an intensity that is from the start to the very end, Don’t miss this series. The reads are quick, and the stories are excellent.
Many thanks to Harlequin Intrigue and to NetGalley for this ARC for review. This is my honest opinion.
