MY THOUGHTS:
Tessa Calloway, a writer, mother, and wife, achieved remarkable success with her debut novel, All This Could Be Yours. Her first book tour, spanning multiple cities, was initially a thrilling experience. However, it soon turned into a nightmare, leaving her feeling tormented. Was it an obsessive fan? Perhaps. But one thing became evident almost immediately: someone was relentlessly digging into her past. This individual seemed to possess an uncanny ability to anticipate her every move, always at every stop on her tour.
Tessa’s success is crucial for several reasons. First and foremost, she cannot disappoint her team. Secondly, she cannot disappoint her family, especially now that they have purchased a grand house with a substantial mortgage. This book tour holds immense significance for her continued success in her writing career and her financial well-being.
What an exhilarating read! Just consider the concept of Tessa’s story. In the author notes, Ms. Ryan humorously states, “I’ll be an author on a book tour talking about a book called All This Could Be Yours, which you’ll realize is about an author on a book tour talking about a book called All This Could Be Yours.” An irresistible quote for a concept that I couldn’t get enough of.
I was highly energized while reading this book and couldn’t put down my Kindle. Despite the seemingly impossible situation, I was bound and determined to witness Tessa’s resilience. I was curious to see how she would navigate these daily challenges while away from her family and emerge as a formidable figure, despite her uncertain past.
For years, I had thoroughly enjoyed Hank Phillipi-Ryan’s reporting style, and I was thrilled to finally have the opportunity to read one of her books. This author is not only talented when it comes to storytelling, but her professional career has no bounds. In addition to numerous awards, she has helped countless people fight and win battles that they might have never been able to face alone. I eagerly anticipate devouring her backlist in the years to come.
