However, one phone call changes everything. Her sister Aimee is missing, so Nicole returns home. While Nicole is desperate to find Aimee safe and sound, she goes back to the time when her friend Lori had disappeared. In fact, the story shifts back and forth between the past and the present.
Wendy Dranfield has written a thrilling story filled with twist after twist. I loved not being right about the guilty party over and over again. This is a book where the blurb is rather misleading, and reading it ahead of time tempted to sway my assumptions - which is exactly what they were, assumptions. Even so, whether it was the secrets, lies, or more, this book was truly addictive. The ending was truly an emotional one.
